Thoughts today

WLS is a medically induced form of anorexia. Because your stomach is smaller and will only hold a very very small amount of food. You are ultimately staving yourself thin, under the supervision of your doctor. But once the stomach grows if you haven't trained your mind to stay thin, you will ultimately gain some weight back. However you will probably never be as big as you were before. That's where i am. i have gained back 50lbs. So now i am going to go back and reinforce what i ate when i first had weight loss surgery, which was pretty much nothing. Kinda like one big meal per day, broke down into 4-5 smaller meals. Now that i think about it, for the first six months after weightloss surgery i was eating about 600 calories per day. Sometimes even less than that.. So now as i channel ana, I am going to go back to what i know works. Lots of water, protein, and supplements. Add a little exercise and strength training too.

Step 1.
Set Goals that are realistic and possible to reach.
A. Take it slow, don't rush the process. Give myself 1 year to reach my ideal weight which is 145lbs.
B. Give myself 1 year and 4 months to reach my ultimate goal weight which is 130lbs.

Step 2.
Create an environment where everything is optimized for weight loss.
A. Start a regular habit of going to the exercise room and workout first thing in the morning and last thing before bed.
B. Keep a written or blogged journal of my thoughts and feelings doing the weight loss process.
C. Set goal points and shopping rewards for meeting goals.
D. Research and educate myself on every area of the body, how it works and how it can work best for me.

Step 3
Reconfigure diet and exercise routine
A. 50% of weightloss success comes from dietary change. Give up sugar and sweets. Eat low carb diets.
B. 50% of weightloss sucees is regular exercise. Do atleast 1-3 hours of exercise per day. Include strength training and cardio exercise.
C. Remember that when you pull out all the barriers to weightloss, that is when the weight comes off very quickly.
